Music Pioneer & Entrepeneur
Ivan Berry is a successful entrepreneur, in Anguilla and elsewhere, who has made significant contributions to the music industry in Canada and the Caribbean. He is the founder and partner of Lit Lounge, a popular bar, and restaurant in Sandy Ground, Road Bay.



Berry was born in St. Kitts to a Swedish-Portuguese mother and a prominent father who served as Governor-General of the island. He moved to Canada with his family when he was 15 years old.
In his early 20s, Berry started a record label called Beat Factory Music. The label became one of the most successful black music labels in Canada, and Berry managed some of the biggest black artists in the country, including the Dream Warriors.
In the 1990s, Berry worked with BMG Music as Senior Vice President of A&R International. He also collaborated with Haitian artists in Montreal and signed Wyclef Jean (Fugees) to record Haitian records.
Berry is a passionate advocate for the export of culture and the import of foreign revenue. He has lectured on this topic at various governments in the Caribbean.
In recent years, Berry has focused on developing his business interests in AXA. He is the founder and partner of Lit Lounge, a popular bar and restaurant. He is also the founder of Aqua Lounge, a floating bar and restaurant that is currently under construction in Road Bay.
Berry is a visionary entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to the music industry and the development of AXA. He is a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs and a valuable asset to the community.
